MOVING HOUSE

Christopher recently moved

Into his girlfriend’s house

And hates it there

It belongs to her and is where

She spent all her married life

Until her husband up and left

Chris feels more like a lodger

It does not seem like home

He wants his girlfriend to

Divorce the vanished husband

And put the house up for sale

He wants her to marry him

And move to somewhere that

Will be their house and home

Christopher tells me this

Every time we meet

To tell you the truth
